You read that right! I will now be providing my services as a Lactation Consultant in Columbia, MD! We’ve spent nearly 10 years in beautiful Nothern Virginia. Now our family is building our dream home in Columbia, Maryland. We are so grateful for our time in Northern Virginia, the place we got married, started my business, bought our first home and had our first kiddo.
First- I want to address my current patients. What does that mean for my Northern Virginia and Alexandria Lactation Consultant patients? Thankfully, not much! I will continue lactation consultations within much of my current services area. These areas include inside the Beltway, Arlington, Alexandria, and Tyson’s Corner area. I am now expanding my service area! If you are a current patient outside of my new services area, don’t worry. I have the *best* referral network to get you into the hands of another skilled lactation consultant.
I will now be providing services as a Lactation Consultant in Columbia, MD, and the surrounding areas.
As a Lactation Consultant in Columbia, I will be providing nonjudgmental and comprehensive care to my patients. This is a continuation of my mission here in Virginia. I look forward to extending both my personal and professional network and plant roots in our new community.
If you live in the area, I’d love to hear from you. One of my very favorite things to do is network with other parents and breastfeeding professionals! Please shoot me a message on FB or DM me on Insta and give me the scoop. So far, I hear the Fourth of July fireworks are amazing but my general info on the area stops right about there.

Hi Brittany,
I’m a La Leche League Leader in Columbia, MD, so welcome to Columbia. One of the moms who comes to our group mentioned you today and has been quite satisfied with your help. We have a list of IBCLCs who do home visits and I’d like to add you to the list as currently we have only one IBCLC in the immediate Columbia area on the list. Do you do home visits? Love to get to know you a little. I’m an “emeritus” IBCLC and was accredited the first year they offered the exam and continued until 2009 when I decided to drop it. Perhaps I could come and visit your office. Look forward to hearing from you.
